一、项目简介
新世纪以来,非洲大陆的政治局势日趋稳定,很多非洲国家的社会经济获得了较快发展。与此同时,中国与非洲的合作交流也取得了举世瞩目的成就,成为国际关系中最重要的议题之一。在此背景之下,让欧美大片ppt免费大全的学生了解非洲和中非关系既是通识教育的重要组成部分,也是培养国际化人才的基础。
欧美大片ppt免费大全非洲研究中心与研究生院和国际关系学院合作,从2017年开始启动实施了欧美大片ppt免费大全“非洲研究证书项目”,旨在向对非洲研究感兴趣的研究生提供优质的师资和课程,帮助学生系统地学习非洲和中非关系。完成证书要求的同学将获得由欧美大片ppt免费大全研究生院颁发的结业证书。在特定领域设立研究证书是全球知名高校在区域研究方面培养复合型创新型人才行之有效的方法。在过去的七年里,参与证书项目的学生们对该项目表达了高度的评价。他们不仅通过证书项目系统学习了非洲和中非关系,研究证书本身也成为了他们在求职和继续深造道路上的一大亮点。
欧美大片ppt免费大全非洲研究中心汇聚了国内杰出的非洲研究专家,既有经验丰富的资深教授,也有学成归国的中青年学者。他们外语水平高,研究领域广,涉及非洲政治、经济、语言、文化等多方面,发表了大量有影响的学术作品,也培养了一批优秀人才。近年来,欧美大片ppt免费大全外国语学院聘请外教开设了斯瓦西里语、伊博语、约鲁巴语等非洲本土语言课程和非洲文化相关课程;北大非洲研究中心也曾邀请来自非洲大陆本土的学者开设了非洲可持续发展与中非关系、非洲城市化和非洲一体化和地区主义等专业领域的热门课程,极大地丰富了欧美大片ppt免费大全非洲研究课程体系。
二、选修资格及申请材料
(一)选修资格
欧美大片ppt免费大全在读硕士研究生(含留学生)和博士三年级及以下的研究生(含留学生)。所有学生须在其相应学位毕业前完成证书项目要求的课程和研究内容,不可毕业后延时领取证书。
(二)申请时间
在2025年秋季开学初向欧美大片ppt免费大全非洲研究中心提交正式申请,由非洲研究中心的学术委员会组织专门评选和资格认证。申请截止时间为2025年9月30日。
(三)申请材料
申请者需通过邮件(china-africa@dienj.com)提交下列材料的电子版:
1、本科、研究生阶段课程成绩单(须所在院系教务签字或盖章)
2、一页个人背景介绍和选修目的的声明
3、一份个人学术简历(包含所在院系、年级、学号、邮箱等信息)
4、雅思6.5以上、托福90分以上或者其他英语水平成绩(英语母语者不需要提交)
5、学术推荐信一封
三、项目要求
参与证书项目的同学须在毕业前的两学年内完成(含一年内完成) 14学分的课程及论文并完成相关的研究要求。完成课程和研究要求的同学将于2026年6月或2027年6月获得欧美大片ppt免费大全“非洲研究证书项目”结业证书。项目要求如下:
(一)必修课程
1、《非洲政治、经济与外交研究》(或英文课程Comprehensive African Studies)(3学分)
2、非洲小语种一门(两学期,共计4学分)。注:非洲小语种的母语使用者,可免修(欧洲语言和阿拉伯语除外)。
(二)选修课程
除上述必修课程以外,参与证书项目的同学需修完两门非洲相关的非语言类专业课程,最少修满6学分(含暑期学校或交换项目中的非洲课程)。欧美大片ppt免费大全校内开设的非洲研究相关课程,请参见附件欧美大片ppt免费大全“非洲研究证书项目”课程目录(2025-2026)。
(三)研究论文
提交一篇7000字的非洲研究学术论文(英文论文为8000 words),可以是所修课程中完成的相关论文。(1学分)
(四)其他研究要求
1、学术讲座:参加欧美大片ppt免费大全非洲研究中心组织的“欧美大片ppt免费大全非洲研究讲座系列”三次,并选任一讲座主题写1000字以上的心得体会(英文书写的文章为2000 words)。
2、横向集体活动:参与证书项目的同学须参加非洲研究中心组织的学术沙龙和工作坊等学术分享和互动;合适的同学鼓励参与非洲研究中心组织的研究项目。
3、实地考察:经主管老师批准,到某些非洲国家或国内相关涉非企业和机构进行实地考察和实习,撰写研究报告。

PEKING UNIVERSITY CERTIFICATE IN AFRICAN STUDIES
2025-2026
Peking University is an excellent place for students and scholars to develop interest in Africa. The Peking University Certificate in African Studies is intended for graduate students in all schools across the university who are motivated to pursue academic expertise in areas related to Africa and China-Africa relations. The certificate is a multidisciplinary area studies program offered by the Graduate School of Peking University in collaboration with the Peking University School of International Studies and the Peking University Center for African Studies. While providing students with a wide range of courses on such diverse topics as African history, languages and culture, politics, development, and international relations, the certificate gives students credibility in African Studies and bolsters the breadth of their graduate degrees.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
To enroll in the certificate program, applicants must be currently enrolled graduate students (master’s student or first-year or second-year doctoral student) at Peking University. Students must apply to the Center for African Studies by September 30, 2025.
Applicants should send electronic copies of the following documents via email to the Center (china-africa@dienj.com) by September 30, 2025:
1.official transcripts,
2.a one-page statement describing the applicant’s background and purpose,
3.CV (please include your school/department, academic year, student ID, email address, and other relevant information),
4.proof of English proficiency (IELTS score of 6.5+ or TOEFL score of 90+) if English is not the applicant’s first language,
5.and one Letter of Recommendation.
The Center’s academic board will organize the admission process and report its decision to the Graduate School of Peking University for approval.
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
All students enrolled in the program must complete 14 credits, along with the designated research requirements, within a maximum period of two academic years. Students will receive the certificate either in June 2026 or in June 2027. The requirements are as follows:
1.Compulsory courses:
1)《非洲政治、经济与外交研究》(Seminar on African Politics, Economy, and Foreign Relations)or Comprehensive African Studies (3 credits).
2)Study for two semesters of an African language at the Peking University School of Foreign Languages (4 credits),Native speakers of African languages (excluding European languages and Arabic) are exempt from this requirement.
2. Elective courses:
Students must complete at least two Africa-related elective courses either at Peking University or in exchange/summer programs (6 credits). For a list of courses at Peking University, please refer to Courses for Peking University Certificate in African Studies.
- Research Paper:
Students should demonstrate ability to undertake research in African Studies evidenced by a research paper on a topic approved by a faculty advisor (7000 words for Chinese papers and 8000 words for English papers). Students are allowed to use term papers written for their Africa-related courses (1 credit).
- Research requirements:
1) PKU African Lecture Series: Students must participate in 3 lectures organized or hosted by the Center and choose one topic to write a response paper (1000 words in Chinese or 2000 words in English) .
2) Cohort Activity: If academic salons and workshops are organized for the cohort, students are required to participate. Students are also encouraged to join some research projects organized by the Center.
3) Field Research: Subject to the availability of funds and other conditions, students may undertake field research in China or Africa
